Tonight I watched President Fords Arrival in my former Hometown, Washington D.C and in Our Nations Capitol. I just wanted to say how thankful I am to live in America and to say Thank You to our Former President Ford. I am not saying Thank You because we had the same political ideals, etc. I am simply saying Thank You from one American Human Being to another American that signed up for a job I would NEVER want to do. No matter our political views, or political actions at the end of the day I believe we are people FIRST. My prayers go out to President Fords family and closest friends. I will say no matter your affiliation, our Military Protocol and Military Honor Guard are simply STUNNING. What a sight tonight!
---In honesty, seeing the Motorcade made me a slight bit homesick. I have lived and worked in the Washington D.C. - Northern, VA area my whole life and I have never lost the "wow" factor of the area. I mean how many people can go sit at the feet of Lincoln at his Memorial one minute, Cry at the Military Presentations at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers in Arlington Cemetery another minute and Stand in awe of the National Cathedral Organ Chimes, all in the same day? With all the things that drove me crazy about the area....crime, UNREAL Home prices, Bad attitudes, etc.....I love it still!!!---
