First, the Good News.......my Surge just made its appearance at 10 p.m.! Check out my Pics.......:)

Now, for the Insanity/Stupidity section. This morning when I still hadn't gotten my surge & had tons of EWCM (Fertile Egg-White Cervical Mucous) I panicked that I had missed my surge & YES...I used one Vial at 6:00 a.m. this morning.....DAMN! It isn't like I don't know my cycles...but I can't explain it...I guess I panicked under pressure because my Surge was about 8 hours later than my 4 previous cycle chartings. Oh, well needless to say, it looks like a $200 mistake. Although miracles happen everyday...EVEN with frozen sperm. Hey, last year one of my buddies on my Chatboard that doesn't post anymore...had 1 vial left in storage & used it on mistake almost a full 51 hours before her thermal shift/Ovulation & she got a BFP. Frozen Sperm isn't even supposed to live that long...proves anything can happen sometime!Anyhoo, now that I have my REAL surge I figure I will Inseminate 26 - 30 hours past surge & chalk this cycle up to maybe yes & maybe crazy timing.

Hey Candace! I wouldn't rule that first vial out. I know I have a very short surge time and I've read that a common mistake that women make AI'ing with frozen sperm is waiting too late. And ya got three vials, so what the heck! If I had used three I probably would have done an early one too. I hope, hope, HOPE you get that BFP on your first try! Sending sticky baby dust your way!

Thanks for the encouragement...I can use it. LOL. I only purchased 2 vials this first try though. At least I still have another shot. Congrats again, my dear.....awwww, what a PERFECT Mothers day you will have this year:)
Isn't it funny how that works. When I was just sitting on the sidelines I used to read about others AI'ing before they got a positive opk and thinking why would you do that. Then when it was me, I just about did it. It was making me crazy, I was sure I had missed it. I hope you do get your BFP.
Well, good to know it happens to the most level-headed of us out there... Glad your REAL surge showed up and so guess you'll be doing an AI between midnight and 4am Friday/Saturday? Have fun and GOOD LUCK!!!!

Im excited for you. I dont think that first vial was too soon. I think maybe you had that moment of insanity where you AIed early for a reason!

Good Luck to you; we went purely by body signs (mostly EWCM) and just used the monitor as backup and it worked for us. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!!! This just may be IT!!
Even when I was POAS 2x/day, I was likely to miss my surge. Everything else had been a go for a day, so we AIed at 6 and 30hrs after the OPK finally came up the most positive positive I'd even gotten. Worked for us!
You did it! You caught that surge! I think all will play out well and before you know it you'll posting those three magical words! " BIG FAT POSITIVE"
